We have strong relationships with a wide range of placement companies, offering students opportunities in many areas of the media industry. Our partners include TV indies, corporate production companies and independent filmmakers, alongside other organisations producing audio-visual content.
A list of placement companies is made available to every student when they enroll on the MA, alongside case studies from former students, enabling you to research each organisation and identify the sort of experience you might like to be considered for.
Students undertake a placement (or placements) of up to 12 weeks, which is organised and supported by the MA’s dedicated Placement Coordinator between January and July each year. This assessed module not only secures valuable work experience, but also offers the support you need to identify your personal strengths and assist you with CVs, cover letters and applications for roles in the media industry.
